- Key Responsibilities
- Inspect rail system interfaces affected by construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with RTA standards, safety regulations and project specifications.
- Monitor works near operational rail infrastructure and ensure safe working practices.
- Safeguard signalling, communication and traction/auxiliary power systems.
- Review method statements, risk assessments and work permits.
- Coordinate interfaces between Civil, MEP and Rail Systems contractors.
- Monitor works affecting tracks, platforms and operational station areas.
- Ensure construction activities do not disrupt metro operations.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning and system integration activities.
- Maintain inspection reports, site observations and NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Railway Engineering or related discipline.
- Relevant experience in rail/metro systems inspection or supervision.
- Experience in operational metro/railway environments is essential.
- Infrastructure or station upgrade/construction experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of signalling, telecommunications and rail power systems.
- Knowledge of rail safety, QA/QC, drawings, method statements and technical specifications.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
