- Key Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical installations for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes and project requirements.
- Monitor site works for quality, safety and technical compliance.
- Review shop drawings, method statements and technical submittals.
- Witness and document insulation resistance, continuity, loop and functional testing.
- Verify materials against approved submittals.
- Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection logs and daily/weekly reports.
- Support testing, commissioning, final inspections and handover.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of electrical inspection experience, preferably on high-rise projects.
- Engineering consultancy experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, NFPA and UAE authority requirements, including TAQA, DEWA and DCD.
- Knowledge of cable routing, panels, earthing, lighting, emergency systems and fire alarm integration.
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical testing, inspection and commissioning.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication, reporting and coordination skills.
